Hi! I'm Moni,

For most of my life, I tried hard to tick all the right boxes.

As the daughter of Vietnamese immigrants who came to Budapest in the 1980s, I grew up with a clear message: work hard, make your parents proud, create a better life. So I did exactly that. I studied late into the nights, pushed to get into the best schools, and learned to be responsible, diligent and a high achiever.

That drive helped me build a successful life abroad: I moved to Amsterdam for my Master’s, landed a marketing job at an international organisation, and became financially independent.

But have you ever felt like you’re living a life you should be proud of — yet inside, you feel deeply insecure?

Maybe even dissatisfied, like nothing ever feels enough?

That was me.

And the biggest mirror of my insecurity was romantic relationships.

In every relationship, I was chasing approval.

To feel loved and prove that I was pretty, smart and valuable enough, I worked hard to please the other person and avoided speaking up about my own needs.

Looking back, it’s no surprise that my relationships fell apart with this unhealthy pattern, leaving me bitter and even more insecure than before.

Then, when I was 28, one big heartbreak finally gave me a wake-up call.

After crying myself to sleep, asking “What the f* is wrong with me? Why no one loves me?” and getting a little dramatic… I finally realized something had to change.

I didn’t know if it was my mindset, my attitude, or my whole life — but I knew I needed a big shift.

Then when Covid hit, I knew it was now or never. I quit my job and moved to Vietnam. (That’s a story for another time.)

For the first time in my life, I gave myself permission to slow down, look inward, and follow my curiosity.

I traveled alone, became friends with strangers, tried hobbies like kite surfing and multi-day hiking — things I never thought I’d do.

And somewhere between moving countries in the middle of a pandemic and pushing myself to finish a hike I thought I couldn’t, I stopped seeing myself as “insecure and shy” and started seeing myself as… brave and strong.

That shift helped me realize how much my authenticity and confidence had been suppressed by:

  • My people pleasing tendencies (trying hard to fit in)

  • My perfectionism and self-criticism (never allowing myself to make mistakes)

  • My tendency to suppress emotions and pains from the past (which only made me feel bitter and resentful)

It wasn’t easy to face these patterns, but that clarity finally helped me start unpacking the “unhealthy” load I’d been carrying all my life.

And the more I unpacked, the more I began doing things that truly light me up:

Since 2021, I’ve become a master certified coach, started my own side business, co-hosted a podcast, run multiple workshops, moved countries again, and coached 50+ clients 1:1 and in groups.

These milestones may not sound earth-shattering — but to the insecure version of me who never dared to take risks, speak up, or follow her passions, they mean everything.

And here’s the most important lesson I’ve learned:

To transform your life, it’s not enough to read self-help books, meditate, set goals, or go to therapy. It’s equally important to take *inspired action* — the kind that shows you’re serious about creating the life you want.

…Whether it’s pivoting in your career, starting a business, speaking at a comedy show, letting go of an unhealthy relationship, or finally moving countries.

If someone had told me 10 years ago that I’d become a coach, move countries three times, and have a loving relationship, I wouldn’t have believed them.

But here I am — proof that the “impossible” can become possible when you break free from old patterns and allow yourself to explore a path that feels risky or irrational, yet intuitively right.

That’s why I do this work.

Because I know how painful it is to look successful on the outside but feel deeply insecure and dissatisfied on the inside.

And I also know how freeing it feels to finally trust yourself, follow what excites you, and create a life that reflects who you really are.

If you’re ready to break free from old patterns and step into your purpose...

I’d love to walk with you.

That’s what my 1:1 coaching (Find Your Purpose) and group program (Career Leap Bootcamp) are for — safe, supportive spaces to explore, experiment, and build a life that feels truly yours.

I don’t have everything figured out — and you don’t need to either. What I’ve mastered over the years is HOW to figure things out.

And that’s the most powerful skill that keeps me moving through change and uncertainty, whether I’m moving countries or changing careers. And it’s possible for you too.
